LOS PAISANOS dinner dance club met for the first time of September 26, 1964.  It came into being through the ingenuity and perseverance of Emily and Garrat Van Wagenen.  The purpose of the club was to sponsor five formal dinner dances a season.  The Van Wegenens invited twenty-five couples to join.  They, in turn, invited their friends to join.  Herein was the nucleus of Los Paisanos.

 

The Club continues with the original concept of a non-profit organization that provides formal dinner dances for the pleasure of its members.
